The Center for Biomedical and Brain Imaging (CBBI) project included an 11,600-SF addition to the existing Life Sciences Research Center, which Bancroft completed in 2012. The first floor of the facility houses a Siemens 3T Magnetom Prisma scanner with the capability to map brain activity. The instrument can also provide ultra-high-resolution images of muscles and skeletal structures. The second floor includes a teaching/conference area and benchtop imaging instruments.
