The project included the new construction of a 26,164-SF replacement animal health laboratory facility for the Maryland Department of Agriculture. Construction included the demolition of existing buildings, structures, security fencing, utilities, etc., for the construction of the new facility to replace the existing facilities. Additional buildings on the property remained in use throughout construction. This achieved LEED Silver Certification upon completion of the project.
