Bancroft Construction recently completed Prelude Therapeutics’ new 101,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at the Chestnut Run Innovation & Science Park (CRISP) in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded in Delaware in 2016, Prelude Therapeutics is a leading precision oncology company developing innovative medicines in areas of high unmet need for cancer patients. Their new biopharmaceutical building includes all of the amenities for operations, including biology labs, chemistry labs, mechanical rooms, cold rooms, conference and office spaces, and executive boardrooms.

MRA Group, the facility’s landlord, is renowned for creating incubator, production, and research development laboratories. MRA Group purchased the 164-acre former DuPont campus in December of 2021 and has plans to transform it into a multi-tenant campus focusing on high-tech sciences while fostering innovative growth in companies. MRA Group also plans to add an outdoor amphitheater and a restaurant or food service to complement the campus. Prelude Therapeutics is one of the first biotech companies on the campus.
